Spring and summer updates

There's been a lot of news at the Mazerolle lab! 

May 2, 2022 - The Mazerolle Lab welcomed five summer students! Check out their profiles on the "Teams" page.

May 2, 2022 - Erin and collaborators (Erin Austen, Jesse Husk, and Leanne Stevens) were awarded a grant from AtlanticOER to host a hackathon! See the story here

April 28, 2022 - Erin and collaborators (Conor Barker and James Hughes) received a grant from the StFX Students' Union to develop and evaluate an OER for a course on cognitive neuroscience.

April 25, 2022 - Erin, Conor Barker, and Family Service in Mi'kma'ki were awarded MITACS funding to support an intern researching neuroscience knowledge translation strategies for addressing housing instability.

March 31, 2022 - The VAScular Cognitive Impairment Training (VAST) Platform was funded by CIHR! Erin is a member of the leadership team, along with Eric Smith (nominated principal applicant), AmanPreet Badhwar, Bojana Stefanovic, and Steffany Bennett. See the story here

January 20, 2022- Erin, Conor Barker, and Family Service in Mi'kma'ki were awarded CLARI funding to support research on neuroscience knowledge translation strategies for addressing housing instability.

 

Lab Members win Hackathon

Lab members Kathryn Isenor, Haley Keenan, and Tristan Pye participated in the recent hackathon organized by CARET (Collaboration for Analytics Research, Education, and Technology) and Engage Nova Scotia. The team created the winning infographic on education and time use. Congratulations!
